Training opportunities

Here is some information for you:

1) This is NOT a trucking job

2) This IS a sales job (you will sale to shipping companies and to the carriers)

3) This is NOT a get rich quick opportunity

4) This does require consistent persistent actions toward goals

5) You may not get any cash flow for 5 or more months

6) There is nothing in the law (currently) that requires training

7) there are very few brokerages that are hiring inexperienced agents (read this as almost none)

8) It costs a lot more than $20,000 during your first year to become/start a brokerage. Becoming a broker agent is a different story.

The following are the organizations that I recommend for training.  I will only post organizations that I have reviewed or have taken part in their training programs.

When it comes to training to become a freight broker, freight broker agent you will hear many differing pieces of information some of it contradictory. Currently there is no federally mandated training programs. Currently there is no certifications that is recognized nationwide. So that salesman who is making a big deal about you getting a so and so certificate – ask them this – What state and or national agency recognizes this certificate as completion of the program.
